EDIT (24/10/2013): Google will not be unveiling the Nexus 5 on October as a spokeswoman from Google announced that the Google Play event is not unveiling a new device.
The Nexus 5 has been floating around the web for almost a few months now. Ever since we caught that leaked video "accidentally" showcasing the Nexus 5, rumors have been getting more and more exciting.
For those of you that don't know, a few months back a Google employee was found (on an Android 4.4 KitKat video from Google) holding the "Nexus 5". Google immediately took down the video after people saw this. It was unofficial, but it look like that phone held in the video is near the final product.
We are likely to see an event unveiling the Nexus 5 on the 24th October and press invitations have already gone out.
It's not over there. Google listed the Nexus 5 on their own website (Play Store) for a brief moment before it was take down. The Nexus 5 was there for a short time displaying, "Capture the everyday and the epic in fresh new ways. Starting at $349."

And lastly, Amazon. Amazon is a failure when it comes to keeping secrets and is a legend when it comes to leaks. The Amazon store showcases multiple accessories for the not yet unveiled Nexus 5.
