If rumors are correct and also trusted, then Google will be announcing the LG Nexus 5 this Friday (1/11/2013). This is probably one of the most-anticipated and most leaked phones of this year and maybe for a while!
We have seen official pictures of the Nexus 5, and now is about time for it to be announced and launched.
It seems like no-one wants to keep the Nexus 5 in its box, but everyone is un-wrapping it, which is great!
As with the BaseMark X benchmark, is a cross-platform benchmark which aims to test how good a device is for gaming.
The Nexus 5 scores impressively on the BaseMark X benchmark! |
It turns out the LG Nexus 5 scored 8% higher than the LG G2 (the phone it was based on) running on around the same internals but with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The Nexus 5 is also 2x as fast as its Nexus 4 predecessor, which was expected.
And to add to that, the Nexus 5 took the second place spot and is ranked as the second best gaming device in Rightware's database. It is beaten by the 64-bit iPhone 5S.
But it does seem like Nexus 5 will blast its rivals as it claims for that most anticipated phone of the year. Could it be announced on Friday? We will just have to have patience but until then, STAY TUNED!!
Below are pictures of how the LG G2 and the LG Nexus 4 did in the BaseMark X benchmark test.
